Situated high up in the Southern Alps, the glittering waters of Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the snow-capped peaks of the Ecrins National Park make this a breathtaking location for a summer holiday.

ActivitiesSport: Les Orres is the perfect location to try any number of summer activities, offering walking, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding, leisure centre, jungle adventure park, swimming pool, tennis, via ferrata, quad biking, archery and tobogganing. The Serre Ponçon lake offers a multitude of activities for water sports lovers, including rafting, hydro speed, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing, kite surfing, water skiing, boat rental, swimming and fishing.

Discover: In the beautiful nearby hamlets you can visit a local museum as well as a range of churchs and cathedrals. Don't forget to stop by the ruined castles at Mèzelet and hameau as well as the Boscodon Abbey in Crots. Closer to home the resort offers a large range of cafés and restaurants for you to sample and enjoy. Les Orres and the surrounding area is lucky enough to play host to a number of summer events. These include sheep dog trials, l’Amontagne au Grand Vallon festival, the Fête de la République, Fête de la Madeleine au Chef Lieu, Fête des Pomoiers and Fête des Ribes.
